Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Face.

A Full Face threading session typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on hair density and your skin's sensitivity. First-time appointments may take a little longer for consultation, mapping, and gentle pre-care to ensure best results.

Most clients feel light discomfort rather than sharp pain; threading is quick and precise. We reduce sensitivity with calming pre-treatments, steady technique, and short breaks. Communicate any pain, and your technician will adjust pressure or pause as needed.

You can generally apply mineral makeup after a few hours, but avoid heavy cosmetics and active skincare immediately. Wait 12 to 24 hours before retinoids, exfoliants, or strong acids to prevent irritation and allow follicles to settle.

Aim for at least 1/8 to 1/4 inch of regrowth (about 7–10 days), so the thread can grip hairs effectively. Too short hair will be missed; too long may be harder to remove cleanly.

Threading suits most skin types, including sensitive skin, but it's not recommended for active acne flare-ups, open wounds, sunburn, or recent chemical peels. Disclose medications and skin conditions during booking so we can advise or reschedule safely.

For most clients, scheduling Full Face threading every 3–6 weeks maintains smoothness and controls regrowth. Hair type and growth rate vary; after a few sessions threaded hair often grows back finer, allowing longer intervals between visits.
